User Interface

The philosophy behind the Metabrawl user interface is to keep it simple, giving players a break from the chaotic battles. We aim to maintain a simple effect with dark colors that denote the seriousness of the tournament. Additionally, we plan to highlight the characters and scenarios designed for the fights.
Below the main screen, we find the legal information and the logos of the video game developers: Metabrawl, Wolverinu, TNT Games, Ethereum, and Unreal Engine, which is the game’s graphics engine. 27
On the main menu screens, we intend to include options for settings, credits, classic fight mode, disclaimer, and NFT section. These sections help to divide each user selection. Within the Classic Fight Mode option, we will find the two options we have discussed in this document: Story Mode within the Open World and Brawl Mode, which is inspired by the fighting and platform fighting genres. This menu shows two large boxes as a proposal, where we can see a reference image with low opacity and large text to ensure there is no doubt about which mode the user is entering. In the upper left corner, we can see the text HOME and PLAY, which serve to return to the main menu and indicate that we are in the game mode selection.
After each combat, when one of the players completely loses their health bar, an animated text will appear above the game screen layer saying '[player's name] WINS,' showing the winner. Each of the spheres visible on the screen—three on one side and three on the other at the top—indicate how many matches that player has won. For example, if an "X" is marked in one of the circles, as seen in the second screenshot, we know that the user has lost a match.
